Payment settings

Choose how customers pay: PayPal, Stripe-hosted checkout, and/or manual methods such as bank transfer.

Who is this for?

Every merchant who wants the storefront checkout to collect payment.

Before you start

Have access to your PayPal or Stripe account if you use an online processor.
Decide whether you also need a manual method (invoice, bank transfer, cash).

How it works

Payment settings live under Payment in the control panel. Online processors redirect the customer to PayPal or Stripe to pay, then return them to your checkout. Manual methods collect a promise to pay and mark the order according to the method you configured.

Setup

Open Payment
In the control panel, go to Payment.

Add an online processor
Choose Stripe or PayPal and complete that provider’s setup guide.

Optionally add a manual method
Create a bank transfer or cash method if you accept payment outside the processors.

Place a test order
Use test/sandbox credentials until you are ready for live charges.

Common issues

Checkout shows no payment methods.

Enable at least one processor or manual method and verify the connection. Then retry checkout in a private browser window.
