Understanding orders

An order is created when a customer checks out or when you create an order in the control panel.

Who is this for?

Everyone who fulfills or supports customer purchases.

Orders appear under Sales → Orders. Each order has payment status, fulfillment status, customer details, line items, and optional tracking.

Open an order to see items, addresses, payment, shipments, and tax invoice actions. You can also create an order manually from Sales → Orders → New.

Processing orders

Order status

Payment and fulfillment statuses tell you whether an order is paid, shipped, or still open.
